What once was said
Has now returned
Endlessly repeating
In the warehouse of my mind
Stored with so many forgotten things
Grumbling too softly to be heard
Voices from the crowded past
Awake to gently speak
Lost in the dull murmur
Of a sea of random thoughts
But now, the waves are rolling
Reaching further than before
What brought this echo back to life
Did it reach its destination
And dutifully return
Endlessly repeating
Begging to be heard
A melody half remembered
Except for one refrain
Yes, now I do recall
Some passing words of Love
Endlessly repeating
Begging to be heard
But now, just like the echoes
They were here and gone
