Science itself cannot prove the existence of God, and if one is looking for proof of God through science, how would one go about it? You cannot contain God in a sample bottle. You cannot produce certain chemicals within a lab and then say, here is God. You cannot devise a chemical, or mathematical formulae on a chalkboard, and then say, here is God. No, God is so big that He cannot be contained, poked or packaged. God is so elusive that He cannot be captured, but yet could the proof for God's Existence be all around us anyway?
When one witnesses a sunset, or sunrise, or a full moon, or the light that bounces off a lake, making it shimmer like a million diamonds, could God be there, among it all? When one witnesses a baby being born into the world, the world itself, turning on its axis, shimmering blue within the vastness of space, is God present?
When one witnesses great efforts of heroism after a disaster - natural or man-made - and witnesses people risking their own lives to save others, is God present? When one views the beauty of a rainbow, or a snowflake, or even a raindrop, witnesses the beauty of the velvet night and the starry skies glittering, do you think God Exists?
No science lab can prove the existence of God for it is impossible. God has kept His secrets from the so-called learned, and shown Himself to those of a simple mind and simple heart. To such people God is ever present, through the beauty of this world, acting through the kindness of the human spirit, and the human heart. To such people, all the proof they need to know that God is with us, is through what they see around them.
You will not find God within a science lab, sure, scientists can tell us how a thing was born, or created, and what chemicals make up its biological body. Or what chemicals form, gas, or water etc. Science is very good at telling us the make-up of such things. But, what science will never be good at, is telling us how all those things came about in the first place.
Their only response to such a question as to whether God exists or not... is a shrug of the shoulders and a resigned nod of the head. Science cannot prove that God does not exist, because the proof, and evidence, of His existence is slowly being revealed to them. Their hearts have been closed for far too long to the Presence of God in science.
Yet God's proof of existence is all around those same people whose hearts have been closed - and still
