One of the best places to go to personalize things that can be used for your business or for yourself is Vista Print. It is not unusual to find yourself wanting to spend a lot of time here creating, perfecting, and making things that are individual to your own likes and needs. I'm going to give you a few pointers here, too, on how to get the most out of your Vista Print experience.
First of all, sign up with Vista Print. You can go here, or you can sign up on several people's blogs or on advertisements. They have an affiliate program, so if you sign on someone's blog or website, that person will get paid by Vista Print.
Once you are signed up, let the fun begin. You will start receiving e-mails from Vista Print with different specials that they have, with lots of "freebies". You only have to pay for shipping, and you can order up to 10 of their specials before they start charging you for items, .
Here is tip number one. Look at the things that are free. Are they ones that you particularly like? Sometimes they have ads for free shipping once you spend $50.00. Ordering your freebies, and then getting special things for yourself, such as personalized T-Shirts until you get to $50.00 is a great way to get the most for your buck. Spend it on product instead of shipping!
Another great tip: if you see an ad with lots of the things that you look for in their free items, save that e-mail. Even though they say they expire on a certain date, they will still honor the expired e-mail.
There are so many things you can get and personalize at Vista Print. Their calendars are great! You can go to certain dates and type in what they are, (birthdays, an anniversary, etc.), and you can even put an icon on them. You can also choose how fancy you want them. If you want them in a certain color, or design. The boundaries are limitless.
With the T-Shirts, notepads, letterhead, and a lot of other things, you can use the hundreds of backgrounds they have, or you can design your own. This is where you can spend so much time. It's almost addicting getting things to look just the way you want them, in the colors you want!
Here's another tip. Many times, one of their freebies is a free picture upload. If you upload that picture, and use it on one of the things you order, then that picture is saved for you to use for free for all of your future orders. This is great for calendars and magnets. It's also ideal for the free business cards you can order.
Many times they have their sticky note
