Reflections: What is a religious hypocrite?

Religious hypocrites

I have seen many hypocrites at church. In fact I am finding I like being on my own with God. I only am associated with family, and a small group of friends. All who know me, the good, bad, and the ugly about me. They are the ones who have stuck around the last 35 years of my life.

I spent most of my life trying to find myself by measuring up to other people's expectations. I have recently begun to realize that it is not possible to please everyone. What is important is learning to stand firm in yourself: Controlling your actions and defining your path. Doing what is right for you. It's not about everyone else. Eternity and ascension relies fully on our own actions, and ability to learn from all lessons' that come our way.

Life is so short and precious, each of us really has a lot to offer. Many people are so beaten down by the hypocrites of the world that they are defeated. This is sad, that for so long bullies have had the power to manipulate us. They are the hypocrites and it's not worth sacrifice our soul for their stupidity.

You know what matters is having self realization about who you are. What your goals are in life. If you try to compete you're only harming yourself. When you receive a lot of negative feedback we tend to give up. We in turn have become our own hypocrite and bully.

The fact is this life is dependent on what path we choose. The key is self awareness. Know what your goals are forgive yourself when you make mistakes. If a door closes it does not mean you are defeated. It means a new wonderful opportunity is coming your way.

Before each of us bullies another, we need to think about how much it not only affects them but affects us. We are in charge of our own thoughts and actions. I checked out a lot of churches; I did not find God there, or Jesus. What I did find is that God and Jesus do not reside in the church. They reside in my heart. I do not have to pay more than I can afford and God and Jesus do not make me feel guilty.

Whoever your higher power is you will not find them by the influence of other people. Insight into your self is a personal Journey that no bully can touch.

So let people judge, be hypocrites. I know who I am and where I stand with God. I know with all my heart I am not judged by God. That I start each day with a clean slate. I end each day as well with the knowledge that I am loved and forgiven by God. It's time the world to stop following blindly. We are more intelligent than sheep. We have the ability to Co-create our paths with God.

We have the potential to grow in ourselves and to become better people. I do believe that we can truly evolve to be a better race. I do believe someday it will happen. The ones who live true to their soul will live on. While the bullies and hypocrites will live in their own eternal hell. Created by their own selfishness, their own actions, and their own deeds.
