Tennis racquets are quite obviously used for getting a tennis ball over the net in a game of tennis. Tennis racquets were first made in the 11th century out of human flesh, and it was mostly played by French Monks. Although it may sound disgusting, it was their form of fun and they didn't have as advanced materials to make decent tennis racquets. Overtime, tennis racquets evolved from the 16th century style, which was somewhat like a squash styled racquet to a mid 20 century style racquet, which many adults would be familiar with. Finally, companies have evolved their tennis racquets into racquets we are familiar with today- sophisticated racquets which allows various shots. If you still own an old fashion styled tennis racquet, it is recommened that you get a new one, as you will not be able to get anywhere near as much top spin, power and accuracy as the new racquets. All new racquets are extremely advanced and great, but picking one racquet over another may be the reason why you got those extra few shots over in a match. So this is why getting a racquet that best suits you is an absolute priority over the color and popularity of a racquet.
