When you leave me
And I chase you like a broken beggar child
Remember this, my muse
Hanging on your beautiful Victorian house
I am an icicle frozen and waiting
For the day that you come outside and notice me
You bask in my prisms of light
Smile as the glint of sunlight reflects in your eyes
While I grasp to hold on,
melting and swaying in the cold wind,
drops of water like tear drops fall to your feet
I long to remain and give you pleasure
But You watch as I break
Shattering to pieces on the frozen ground
Emotionless you leave
already thinking of the next

Poetry: Don't leave me
by Kevin Garcia
Just when I thought I got you back
You tell me that you’re leaving
In my heart, I felt a crack
For I will soon be grieving
by Cindy Shanks
Trembling, swallowing pain
I can hardly understand
You whisper apologies,
The suitcase in your hand.
I want to hold you,
I am lost in you.
I can't find my own way.
I will never forget all the things you told me.
I wish I was there so you could
by Moeze Lalji
Don't leave me
In the hands
Of the night
Whose eyes
Are dark
To look after
Our vision
Only the whistling
Night owls
Shine their eyes
"Come Back"
He stood proud shoulders back, chin high
tears streaming watching daddy wave goodbye.
Wishing he could stow
