To think of a day forever
It's just wishful thinking
To think I was planning to stay around
Just to wait for the word
One of us was better off finding time
For it would never come
Not around here

And to think that I
Would find myself caught up in words
Like nothing hurt
Simply means that it could have been much worse

So search away, picture that day if you can
Remember the reason I kept repeating
I simply can
Then understand
That is if you truly understand
