Making a lot of noise when the ball drops on New Year's Eve is one of the best New Year's Eve traditions, and no New Year's Eve party is complete without noise makers. Many people may remember using pots and pans to make noise on New Year's Eve, but there are many other creative ways to make noise makers for your party. This article will provide you with step by step instructions on making several New Year's Eve party noise makers.

Classic Party Horn

The party horn is a classic noise maker that is perfect for your New Year's party; for this project all you will need is some wrapping paper, tape, a pen, scissors, and a cardboard toilet paper tube. Mark the end of the tube in four spots equally far apart from each other and number them clockwise from the top. Now mark the other end of the tube in the same spots with the same numbers, and cut along the tube from the position of one in an angle from 1 to 4. Also cut an angle from 2 to 3.

This will leave you with two equal pieces. Roll these pieces into a horn cone shape and tape it shut. Cover the horn with wrapping paper and secure it with tape. You can also add strips of wrapping paper or ribbon to the end of the horn for a festive look if you like. This classic party noise maker is easy to make and fun to play with at your New Year's party.

Plastic Cup Noise Maker
