Life is a Joke
How did the world turn into this place?
So many people only caring about the money they chase
Rich get richer always wanting more
They could care less about the sick or the poor
People in foreign lands starving for food
We throw away our leftovers when not in eating mood
The war continues many courageous soldiers dying
If you listen closely you can hear their families crying
Our minds our in the gutter our morals stink
You can only laugh when you hear what some people think
It's ok for the homeless to live on the streets?
They aren't human beings? they have heart beats
Rape, abuse, drug use at every age
When my friends is it time to turn the page
The violence, rudeness, and junk we provoke
Right now it seems this life is but a joke
