Same-Sex relationships face enough troubles simply because of the fact that involves both of the same genders. Since the beginning of humanity, the natural sexual consensus involved a man and woman. As soon as any man or woman chooses to romantically and/or sexually associate themselves with their own gender, they're often faced with trouble.

Ontario residents, Tanya and Victoria are engaged and have faced enough drama on their relationship.

Vicky's parents were not happy about her coming out and they still really don't appreciate that fact that she's in love with a woman
Tanya's parents are a bit more open-minded.
Unfortunately the clash between parents of both partners clearly doesn't help with the relationship at all. Victoria insists that relationships are difficult enough between a man and a woman.
When same-sex love is involved there's twice the drama that is mostly caused by homophobes.

Our friends know us and are happy for us. Unfortunately there is that one person or two who gives us the stink-eye for holding hands. I want to kiss my fianc without getting gawked at is that possible? Most of the time it is but tradition is out and in with the gays, Tanya jokes.

Some people are lucky enough to have understanding parents. People like Matthew; an insurance agent from Brampton Ontario has parents who accept that he is gay. Matthew, like many homosexuals runs into the judgmental person every now and then.
I'm gay, get over it, Matt would say.

There shouldn't even be so much of a disagreement with same-sex love.
Tanya and Vicky want to get married and should be free to plan their wedding without all the non-sense. Homosexuality isn't traditional but it's more than ok. A woman and a woman or a man and a man have just as much of a right to be betrothed.

Gay marriage is being legalized in as many parts of the world as possible. There are a few states and provinces that are still iffy on the subject. Everyone is entitled to their opinion but to be fair, gay marriage should be legalized everywhere.
Gays and lesbians are not monsters and yet some people look at them that way.
Religious values also don't make gays, lesbians and bisexuals lives any easier.
If the Quran or the bible said it was ok to be gay then same-sex relationships wouldn't even be an issue.

A person's sexuality is no more a choice than the colour of their skin.
