Christian clergy should step into the realm of faith in a priesthood of believers of Jesus Christ. It is a spiritual realm somewhat occluded by conflicts of interest to hierarchical, tithed priests. Territory in the realm of the Prince of this world should not be so well defended by established, non-priesthood of believers clergy, yet it is unfortunately the norm. We can admire some of their architecture as beautiful. They also spare alms for the poor enough to justify their existence, and we are appreciative if poor. It is yet a vehicle of faith running on two of eight cylinders. God's realm is in more dimensions that that of a highway to corporate CEO's.

The wild frontier of spiritual territory is not of this world. The Prince of this world is the captain of a sinking ship upon which he and his crew must sink lest they have a clue and be saved through faith in Jesus Christ. Immediately they found one another and mankind found new ways to corrupt the will of God.

The Levitical tribe were of course a priesthood of believers that evolved into having a more permanent high temple priesthood. They incited the ruler of this world as partners in the crucifixion of our Lord. Jesus had foretold the destruction of the Temple before His death. We learn of a Priesthood of believers in the New Testament.

A priesthood of believers was described by Martin Luther as being the only acceptable form with all other being anathema. Yet today in an era of universal literacy neither Protestant, Catholic nor Orthodox churches have a priesthood of believers;
