Creative Imagination is much more than just imagination, and will be of great assistance in your direction. The cultivation of the imagination, leads to development of the Ideal, out of which your future will emerge.

It is a very important ability, to be able to actively imagine things, to see and hear things in our minds. But, does it have to involve a lot of creativity? A process of imagination is daydreaming, many people use this to think in a fantasy world

Creative Imagination, has the ability to imagine original things, not just imagine things. It is coming up with new ideas and seeing and hearing things, that others don't. So, how is this cultivated?

Imagination is the constructive form of thought, which must always go before every constructive form of action. A builder cannot build a house of any kind until he gets the plans from the architect, and the architect must get them from the imagination.

Creative Imagination

Firstly, we need to exercise our basic imagination. One simple way do this is to think in pictures in our mind, and start to listen to music, in our minds. We can then play little "films" in our minds, until we our able to watch them when required. For some people this process may take some time, for others it will seem quite an easy an enjoyable activity.

Secondly, you need to be more creative in your thinking and imagination, this will help develop your creative imagination. Your subconscious mind will tell you what we pay attention to. So, if you ignore the creative aspects in your life, you are telling your subconscious mind, that these are not important. But, if we try to note when we are creative, your subconscious mind will then, start to feed you with more and more creative ideas. A process of supply and demand.

Changing your surroundings to somewhere different, can encourage your creativity, immensely.

Do you want more creativity in your love life? Try going somewhere new.

Do yo write? Try sitting under a tree.

Do you want more business ideas? Take your notepad and sit in the park.

Creativity can be born from a total change of environment.

Concept Combination

A game that you can play to exercise your creative imagination, is "Concept Combination". Either alone, or with other players, you combine random things or concepts in new ways. For example: a billboard and a thermometer, could generate an idea for a sign that checks the weather and adjusts the message accordingly.

"Come in out the cold and warm up with a gourmet coffee"

"Come in out of the heat and cool down with an ice cold soda"

Don't Wait For Creative Imagination

Creative inspiration can certainly strike at any time, so start to mentally redesign everything you see. This will help you to come up with creative inventions. Imagine and have fun, imagine a better table, imagine a better postal service, or a better car. After continuing this for three weeks, it will start to become a fun habit.

Creative Imagination goes way beyond inventing things and solving specific problems. A truly creative mind is coming up with solutions, as well as questions.

Creative imagination means mental labour, it is easier for some than others.

All the great things in life, have come to men and women, who have the capacity to think, to imagine, and to make their dreams come true.
