If you believe in Existentialist philosophy, than you don't believe in God, unless you are a Christian existentialist but that is a contradiction in of itself and a bastardization of the philosophy in of itself. An existentialist, such as French philosopher Jean-Paul Sartre, or German philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche, you believe in the idea of Existence preceding Essence. That meaning that you believe that man existed as a life form on this earth before what it meant to be human came to be. This entirely negates the existence of God because the theory behind God is that God defined what it meant to be man, and then created man. That God decided what it meant to be man. The existentialist believes that Man came into being first with no preceding essence, and through Man's thoughts, morals, and actions, defined what it is to be man himself, and thusly defined his own essence. This being said, the logic supported by the morality and human logic of man is thus: The way you act, you act as a representative of the entire human race. To act in any way as a human being is to define in your own way, what it is to be human, and there for, set through action, the guide lines you think man ought to go by. We are all representatives of our species, and in action, we silently speak how we condone man to act. The short and skinny of this being thus: If you believe that existence truly precedes essence, then you believe that as an atheist and a human being, that your actions define human nature. That your morality and logic which can only be decided by you, set the guide lines and parameters that you find acceptable for man to live by. That, is a very very brief run down of the Existentialist point of view of Human Logic in Relation to God.
