Speak to me of your greenery,
Tall woods bound to the sky.
Shade you reply
To the animals and grass.
Ferns and mosses
Birds and berries
Luxurious foliage abound and make
A comfy down.
Flowers and plants push though the earth
Amazed at your size and girth.
Grateful for you place,
Their tiny lives you grace.
As time claims you, you fall
A new bug and ant abode.
A big waste some think at a glance
Your bulk amends the ground.
Then bear comes looking for food
Ants provide a insect lunch
A squirrel and birds use you for a lowly winter perch
Who could call you anything other than
Perfection.
