Thankful
You hit me
You hurt me
You caused me pain
But I am thankful
You made me strong
You taught me to stand up
Every time you cause me pain
For that I am thankful
You gave me a seed
I helped it grow
You walked away
For that I am thankful
You introduced me to your friends
They became mine too
They helped me out when you didn't
For that I am thankful
They are now my family
You walked away
We are now happy
For that I am thankful

I don't
I am grateful for the love that you give me.
Like a valley with the freshest spring water.
I thrive of your love.
You helped
