When our eyes met
Our future was set
Our dreams entwined together
As the years went by
Our dreams together fly
It seemed we would be forever
We grew
Our lives changed
Nothing would be the same
You Lied
I cried
I would no longer take you name
I walked away
I could not stay
My world was torn apart
I look back now
I am still picking up pieces
Of my broken heart
We have a son
What have you done
To deserve such a wonderful boy
I want to give him the world
Diamonds and Pearls
He brings so much joy
How can I explain the reality
Of your abuse and infidelity
To our beautiful child
Is it fair
That you do not care
Because of you
Our world is torn apart
