This is my recipe for "Bacon Stuffed Mushrooms" they are so good I wish I had some right now. These are not for those on a diet(unless your cheating!).
You will need;
2 lb Lg Stuffing Mushrooms
1 lb Bacon Raw Diced
1 small Onion Diced
1 cup Celery Diced
4 cups Ritz Crackers Crushed
1 1/2 cups White Cooking Wine
Preheat oven to 350. In a frying pan cook diced bacon until browned, then add celery and onions saute' until translucent. Add the cooking wine, let come to a simmer and remove from heat. Then add the Ritz crackers to the bacon white wine mixture stir until the crackers are all moist and can hold all together. Now remove the stems from the mushrooms and fill the mushrooms with the bacon stuffing. Cook in the oven for 20 to 30 min. or until browned and slightly crispy serve hot.
