Every house hold has a different way of raising their kids. The one thing every one seems to have in common is punishing or nonpunishing their kids.
It is said that if you spare the child they will be spoiled. Meaning your child will know they can get whatever they want and that you will give it to them if they cry, wine, and falling out on the floor. This is what behaving badly is also like. If you let your kids do whtever they want to they will never know what it's like to have displine, manners, listen to adults, and people don't like their kids around bad behaved kids, so they will tend to be lefted out of many events.
It's just the known rules that come with parenting, if a child is being mad they must be punished. Not always in a fisacal way. Words, such as a long speech can make a child cry and think about what they have done a simply guilt feeling in them will make them not want to do what they did to get in trouble again. It depends on what the child has done, minor things can be delt with by putting them on punishment for a week or two, meaning no games, no company, no phone, and must stay in there room accept when to use the restroom, to eat,no going out side, to do their chores, and take away something you know they love for a moment and return it when they get off punshiment. They will hate the feeling of having nothing, and being locked up. This will make them try harder not to get in trouble, knowing how bad it was being on punishment the last time. Also if it's really big a spanking is to take place. This will better them to stay away from trouble, it works the best in some cases. You have to know your kid(s) and see which punishment works the most and stick with that streagy.
No one is perfect we all mess up, especially kids. Punishing them everytime something happens just isn't fair. Sometimes if you just sit and listen to what they have to say it can change for the best. Or a simply warning not t do it again or else can work as well.
Letting them behave badly at a young age will bring great terrer when they get older. Meaning it will be harder for you to control them, get them to listen to you, and for you to help them be more respectful. Since all they know is being bad. Kids can only be how they are raised to be.
