The best ways to successfully market your Helium articles

Created on: November 23, 2009

Using Twitter is one of the best ways to successfully market your Helium articles. As your followers grow, the more people you can reach directly and immediately. Once you finish an article, tweet the link to your followers and watch your revenue grow!

People you do not know and people who may share the same interests as you based on your article's subject will be able to access your articles whenever you 'tweet' them!

But there are more ways to successfully market your Helium articles.

Here are the top 5 ways to market your Helium articles. And each one supports the other. If you can accomplish these, you can watch your monthly income grow!

1. Build Twitter followers
2. Use Bit.ly to shorten your URLs for Twitter
3. Upload your articles to Digg.com
4. Facebook status updates!
5. SocialOomph.com

If you want to earn more money through Helium's advertising/revenue sharing, here is how to do so using what you have in front you: The internet.

1. First - build a Twitter following!

There are ways to build followers - with key words, quotes, etc. Update your current followers with interesting updates - things you are interested in. If it is writing, and most Helium writers are interested in writing, post tips on writing, or things to think about when it comes to writing. Build a group of followers who are writers.

If it is a specific subject, post updates on that specific subject from shoes, social websites, recipes, and 'tweet' links to your articles.

It is important to also follow people whom you are interested in. If it is golf, type in golf as a keyword and follow those who are interested in golf. Do the same for recipes, network marketing, people who post motivational quotes through the day, build your circle of interests and in return they may return the follow!

2. Use a link shortener like Bit.ly

You are bound by 140 characters in a tweet - so here is your chance to make your point in 140 characters or less. Use the website: Bit.ly to shorten your links (urls) so that you can have more space to say what you need to say.

Using Bit.ly is also a great way to see the 'hits' or 'clicks' your articles are generating. By being a member on Bit.ly you can monitor all your articles and the amount they are being hit through your shortened link.

3. Upload all your articles to Digg.com

Get a membership to Digg.com and upload all your articles to that website. It's just a link at digg.com that if someone wants to read your article they'll click on it and be led directly to Helium.
