Ever since Sarah Palin's new book Going Rogue hit the shelves, her name and political ambition have become a new focus of both friends and allies. About 1.5 million copies of the book was printed, the same number of copies as the book of late Sen. Edward Kennedy.

Sarah's book was a huge embarrassment to not only the John McCain political campaign, but also to the Republican Party apparatus. Sarah said she recently called John McCain and praised him in a telephone conversation. Can Sarah Palin get another chance at the US presidency? This is a million dollar question.

Sarah is walking, talking and sounding as a potential candidate for the 2012 presidential campaign. Handlers for her 14 state book tour are having a hard time controlling the crowds lining up not only to see her but also to buy her book, 'Going Rogue'.

There are reports that the US Army planned to restrict the media coverage when Sarah appears at the military base, so as to stop a possible political protest at the book signing venue. She is expected in Fort Brag, North Carolina for her book signing event. Sarah may be signaling her interest in running for the US presidential election in 2012.

She told AFP reporters while responding to questions about her presidential ambition in 2012, "That certainly isn't on my radar screen right now, but when you consider some of the ordinary-turning-into-extraordinary events that have happened in my life, I am not one to predict what will happen in a few years." To many political observers, such statement is a clue that she most likely may run.

What possible impact would her book have on her possible run for the presidency? There are mixed views over the matter, depending on who you ask. According to news reports, as Sarah began her 14 state media blitz for her book, John McCain was busy calling some news media organizations to reject some of the claims Sarah made in her book, with regard to members of John McCain's senior campaign staff.

Sarah recently posted a message in her Facebook blog talking about the need to take the country back. Sarah says that she could not wait to meet the US soldiers, who according to her, are second to none. She continues to talk and sound as if the presidential campaign for 2012 is already on.

Her messages are being well received by mostly republican crowds who cheer her at every stop. In Birmingham Alabama about 1,800 people gathered at Sarah Palin's book signing event. She is speaking with powerful media magnates such as Oprah
