Sitting here quietly,
in my dark little home.
Pondering of how,
my life went so wrong.
Family I once had,
have all faded away.
No one to talk to,
no need for me to stay.
Satan whispers in my ear,
the good life for you is over.
Take this knife and disappear,
this devil has gotten much bolder.
I raised my head, and caught a glance,
of my bible where it always lay.
Then Jesus down within my soul
whispered " get your bible and pray."
Jesus gave me the strength to go on,
one day, one step at a time.
He promised to supply all of my needs,
so ill no longer listen to Satan's lies.
