Internet writer's guide to marketing your Helium articles on the web

Internet writers are generally more successful when they are also proficient in web marketing. It is not necessary to be an expert in Internet marketing to earn daily ad revenue, but it is important to know how to get your Helium articles noticed and read by more people. You can do this using search engine optimization, and by linking back to articles from blogs and other websites.

1 - Use Helium button, banners and links.

At the foot of most Helium pages you will see "Link to Helium". This takes you to a page where you will find an assortment of attractive banners and buttons to use in your marketing. Make good use of these on your blog and on personal web pages, or your profile pages at social sites and blogging sites.You should also use your own "show_articles" link in forum signatures, and in resource boxes when you submit to free article directories. These are useful for providing backlinks to your Helium Articles webpage.

2 - Participate in forums.

Join specialist forums which feature the topics you write about. If you are permitted to have a signature link you can use this to lead to your Helium articles. Where you are allowed to include links in your forum posts, you can add a provide a useful article link in any post you add on a relevant topic. Being an active participant in a busy forum can help to establish you as an expert or guide on your specialist subject, and gives you a wider audience for your articles. Your forum posts could also be found in search engines, and that will result in more visitors to your articles.

3 - Use social sites for link sharing.

Friends and followers at social sites and will want to see what you write at Helium, so you should share your article links whenever you can. It is important to participate at social sites in the way they are intended to be used, not just to post your own links. Be interactive and friendly with other users so you gain a solid following and keep adding more friends.

4 - Create an Internet writer's blog for marketing your Helium articles.

Having an active blog with plenty of visitors will be helpful for marketing your articles. Add regular new blog posts on topics covered in your articles. You can hyperlink appropriate phrases to individual article titles or add a further reading list of titles at the end of the blog post. You could include a teaser, a few lines or the opening paragraph from an article, plus a hyperlink to the Helium title. Doing this will add good keywords to your blog, as well
