The 2010 PGA Tour schedule kicks off in January with stunning courses, celebrity challenges and amazing shots to keep viewers looking forward to another action-packed year.

The 2010 PGA Tour season opener takes place January 7th through 10th at The SBS Championship, formerly known as the Mercedes-Benz Championship. PGA TOUR professionals will enjoy challenging fairways, clusters of bunkers and breathtaking views at the Plantation Course at Kapalua in Kapalua, Hawaii. In 2009, Geogg Ogilvy edged out Anthony Kim and Davis Love III to win the event.

Following the SBS Championship, another course with spectacular scenery awaits PGA Tour pros. The Sony Open tees off at the Waialae Country Club in Honolulu, Hawaii, January 14th through the 17th. Last year's winner was former Masters Champion, Zach Johnson.

As one of the favorite PGA Tour events, the Bob Hope Classic provides golf enthusiasts with five entertaining days of golf. An exciting mix of celebrities and pros hit the links on four stunning courses in La Quinta, California, January 20th through the 24th. Last year's event was won with an exciting finish on the 18th hole with Pat Perez obtaining his first PGA Tour win.

Previously known as the Buick Invitational, the Century Club of San Diego Invitational is organized by a non-profit group to benefit local charities and the San Diego community. The tournament tees off on January 28th and runs through January 31st at Torrey Pines Golf Course in La Jolla, California. Torrey Pines Golf Course, known for sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean and the canyon-lined, narrow greens of the 13th hole, challenges pros to use all their clubs in their arsenal. In 2009, Nick Watney captured his second PGA Tour win at this championship course.
