Love Is
I cannot write a poem of love,
Rhyme Moon with June and stars above,
For everything I try to say

I want to say what my feelings are;
I want to say how much I care;
But words will only come pure and true
Once I've learned to say: I hate you.

Whenever you are near to me
Seconds creep past like a thousand years
Right next to you

a summer's day at a friend's place,
we hit it off right from the start,

Songbirds sing sweet notes in reach of my ears
Fragrances of flowers

the silver diamond studded bracelet, O be still
