In this article, I will be discussing three main points. Firstly, I will discuss how graphics take away from the creation of levels. Secondly, I will prove my point by proving that video games are becoming stories rather than actual games. Finally, I will discuss how games are repeats of previous games, with enhanced graphics.
Firstly, the graphics take away from the creation of levels. Think about the Spyro games. They used to be the most popular games on Playstation one. However, they used to focus on making fun platform styled games with some enemies that are fun to try and defeat. I mean, who needs five different types of attacks to kill enemies? How boring is it just testing a random combination of attacks in hope that you will be lucky enough to kill the enemy? The game play complexity is decreasing the effort that game developers put into other aspects of the game, like dodging enemies attacks and killing them in unique ways. And is it really that much funner a game if you hear your character cheer after it kills an enemy? This proves that graphics complexity, game play complexity and sound complexity take away from the creation of levels.

It was a huge success, where you controlled Harry and explored the magic world of Hogwarts. However, as the games continued, the game developers focused on having amazing graphics, which would be great if you wanted to ONLY experience
