Many players think getting a high combat level means that you are rich. Actually, it's wrong. Just getting a high combat level won't get you in the league of the richest. I have the guide to make you rich, but not instantly. The most basic thing you'll need is patience. Without patience, you won't get the money. You may be rich in just a few weeks, and probably in 6 months to 24 months, you could get THAT rare Santa Hat, Halloween Mask or Party Hat.
Woodcutting
This method requires Level 60 Woodcutting and a hatchet (axe). First, go to Rimmington, which is South-West of Falador. There, you'll see 4 yew trees, and chop them. After getting an inventory full of logs, you can either walk to the bank at Falador or Teleport there. Teleporting to Falador requires 37 Magic Levels. For player who have done the Lumbridge/Draynor Diary, they got an option to Teleport to the cabbage farm and bank at Draynor.
Yew Log= 455 gp each as in 22th of November.
Fishing
This method requires Level 40 Fishing (for lobsters) or Level 50 (for swordfish). First, acquire a Lobster pot or a harpoon with 30 gp and take the ship to Karamja. After reaching there, got through the Banana tree farm and you'll see some fishing spot. Find 1 with the option "Cage" and "Harpoon". "Cage" requires a lobster pot, and "harpoon" require a harpoon. After fishing you got 2 choices: Teleport to the cabbage farm and then bank at Draynor( nearer) or paying the customs officer 30 gp to go back to Port Sarim.
Please also note that if you are catching swordfish, they will be caught along with tuna.
Raw Lobster= 412 gp as in 22th of November
Raw Swordfish=572 gp as 22th of November
Raw Tuna ( caught along with swordfish)=111 gp
Smithing
This method requires level 30 smithing. Although this method is fast money, it is very boring. But if you are patient, I promise that the money will be flowing in after a few months of hard work. Firstly, get 2 coal and 1 iron ore and go to a furnace to smelt it into Steel Bars. The closest furnace from a bank is either AL-Kharid or Falador. You got 3 options, which is, mine iron ore and mine coal (takes a long time) or mine iron ores and buy coal or buy iron ore coal.
If you mine coal and iron ores you'll get a full revenue of 830 gp.
But If you mine iron ore and buy coal, it'll be steel bar minus the cost of Coal= profit:
830-(193X2)=444 gp profit.
If you buy both:
830gp-(193X2)gp -182 gp= 262gp
And lastly, be patient and enjoy the money!
