((( Let the Heavens Sing )))-
Saturn's rings sound out amongst its many moons;
Pulsating music; emitting their own cosmic tunes.
Another beautiful harmony of a universe of melodies.
Forever recorded in time; captured in a deep freeze.
*
Martian winds howl out distant chords of the past.
Mercury spins disco music and Venus is a gas.
Neptune is casually dizzy from the spectacle of it all;
As he hangs on precariously; drunken to Heavens call.
*
Jupiter rises as a knights kettle percussionist;
Pacing meter and balance for a universal song list.
Keeping its one eye open as a watchful sentinel will do;
Looking out for asteroids, which all of the planets rue.
*
Uranus sits in the balcony and makes an ass of himself.
Are we even sure it's a planet; that one's still on the shelf.
None the less the audience needs a heckler just to make us laugh;
As the sun showers us from time to time in it's radiated wrath.
*
Beyond the Milky Way is an ebony backdrop for the stage;
The stars spotlight the dance between all the calm and rage.
Black holes usher out the guests and clean up the cosmic dust;
Gathering all the matter and light; not caring or making a fuss.
*
The moon hangs lazily in a hot Earth sky.
Stars blink on and off and a comet races by.
It leaves you in humility; you listen as it sings;
About the wonderment of the cosmos, blackholes and other things.
*
Here we sit listening on a Earthen blue white marble.
How we ever got here is still something to marvel.
Intently, we listen to the songs that the universe always plays;
Drifting off to the hum of the Heavens as we sleep away the days.

Upon a sea of energy drift I,
Riding the swells of microwaves.
Conflicting whirlpools,
Spinning matter past my eyes.
