Poetry: Dreams are . . .

Dream A Dream

Dreams come in many different ways
Thoughts and ideas, your mind displays

They come from the subconscious part of the mind
Some say they come from the great divine

To create and build from what your soul aspires
Expressing your love what your heart desires

In times of trouble or when you're sad
Refusing to look or deal with the bad

They bring awareness if you dare to look
Like the revealing of a story in an ancient book

Wonderment and exploration of inventions they come
Showing us how, not questioning where their from

Whether in sleep and even when we're awake
It is made up of thoughts till in the physical we make

Dreams are wonderful and a guiding tool
So many of us ignore and we become the fool

Since dreams are meant to follow our heart
So open your mind, take time and start

To listen, watch and be more aware
You will find there is something for you there

So live, love, create something new
Enjoy and may all your dreams come true
