~An Agonizing Script~
I've crawled and pushed my way
Through the mountains and over the plains
My fingernails are gone
My bones are worn down
And I've ran out of words to say
They pulled me out of the sea
And left me in the sand with nothing
Where I starved and clambered
Through the desert
With nothing but dirt to eat

Making its home inside

She made friends with the birds
And her legs continued growing
I can see the end

Grew wings and conquered the land
But I crawled
And scraped
Nothing left of my body
And the world forgot my name
Will my grave be this beach
With the sea
Mere inches out of reach
My calico darling
Nowhere to be seen
Tomorrow will come as open gates
