Moon
I can see the moon
And I know that through your window
You too can see the moon
The castle-guards watch only the gates
Your angelic glory cannot steal away
But your wish it is to feel my hold
Where your peace is engraved.
But now the moon is risen....
So look at the moon
And I look at the moon
And there our eyes shall meet
My beloved royalty.

Poetry: Lost love
by Olu Burrell
I think about you when I'm looking ahead
And also in moments of reminiscence
But do me a favor and don't ask me
To tell you
The man in the jacket, walking through snow,
His faithful friend, always in tow,
Forever smiling, happy look on his face,
Whatever
So there we were
Looking up at the sky,
Together.
Truly thought
That you and I
Could storm
Any kind of weather.
I still
Do not wait for me with bated breath,
because my heart dances to and fro.
Its chambers are hollowed and empty
it longs for
As a bird perched on the edge of its nest
eyes searching the unknown world outside
strengthening its wings, yearning to fly
