Who is not going to feel better when you have managed to lose some weight? It does not matter if it is 2 pounds or twenty pounds. Losing weight not only makes you look better, it makes you feel better about the way you look too.Losing weight will make you feel better about the way you look in many ways.
More confident
Often we hear that people who have managed to lose weight, say that they can mange to do anything they set their mind to now. Losing weight have given them the confidence they had always lacked. Sticking to a diet and making the time to workout is not always easy. The positive results of a successful weight loss regime is however so easy to see.
The more those pounds are coming off, the more your confidence will grow. Nothing builds confidence like taking control of a situation and getting a positive outcome.
Using make-up, have a new hair style
Many people who have manged to lose weight, undergo a whole make-over. They are feeling so good about themselves that they are finally buying some make-up! If you are overweight, you often think what is the point of putting on lipstick. Overweight people are so conscious that they think people only see the fat, they do not even notice a beautiful made up face or a nice hairstyle, even though this is far from the truth.
Get encouraged to lose even more weight
That tiny taste of success when you manage to lose a few pounds often encourages weight watchers to stick to their change of lifestyle. If losing five pounds makes you feel great, just think how you will feel when you have have twenty pounds. You start to feel better about the way you look even though you still have a few pounds to go. Just the fact that you are taking control and doing something about your weight instead of binging will give you confidence and motivation.
Start to enjoy buying and wearing nice clothes
Let's admit it, it is not fun to shop for clothes when you are a few sizes too big. Nothing fits, the lightning in the changing rooms makes you look even bigger than you really are and all the pretty clothes are in sizes that you did not know existed, never mind can fit into!
How this all change when you have managed to lose weight. You need new clothes so you tentatively try on a skirt one size smaller than your usual circus tent. It falls of your body. So you go and get a smaller size. Same thing, it slips right of your hips and puddles on the floor of the changing room. You look at your skinny self in the mirror and smile. And then you go and buy a heap of skinny clothes, suddenly dressing up is fun.
Everybody is commentating on how great you look and you realize how being overweight has prevented you from feeling good about yourself. There are many reasons why we should get rid of extra weight. You will be healthier, you will save money on food, be able to play with your children and probably even sleep better. But the strongest motivation for losing weight is that it will make you feel so much better about the way you look.
