I walk a cold and lonely path,
The path of the dead.
No one else to talk to,
Just the voices in my head.
I don't know where I'm going,
I barely remember where I've been.
Why can't anyone hear me?
I wander the halls again and again.
Only one time someone saw me
She told me to go to the light.
She said that I was "in between"
But I see no brightness in this night!
I wish she would come back,
And explain it all more clearly.
Loved ones are nowhere in sight,
And I miss them all so dearly!
I look for the light she spoke of,
Always pacing back, forth and around.
Frustration and emptiness consume me,
I am lost and will never be found.
Oh beautiful girl with the long black hair,
Please, please come back, I plead!
I will forever await your return,
Walking my eternal path,
The path of the dead.

Poetry: The path of the dead
The pathway of the dead begins
In bursts of light and song.
They board a vessel not in view
(That's where our souls belong).

I walk a cold and lonely path,
The path of the dead.
No one else to talk to,
Just the voices in my head.
I don't know where
A Quick Exit
Excuse me, Mister Reaper
I think I will save some time
Shall I shut these blackened curtains?
Let you carry
by Ronnie Reese
A downward spiral
That ends in the dust,
Is a well worn path.
Now, that you can trust!
At the end of the corkscrew
