The eyes are the windows to the soul. Most often, one need not utter a word to express an emotion; the eyes possess the compelling ability to reflect the true individual in each of us. And because it is the most prominent feature of the face, there simply is no wonder why everybody dreams of having the perfect pair that enthralls and glows with vitality.
One way to enhance the beauty of the eyes is by keeping the eyelashes long and thick. Long, luscious, raven lashes make the eyes seem bigger and also give them a healthy sparkle. Women already have invested too much time and money on expensive mascaras and troublesome extensions, yet to no avail. Fortunately, there still are methods to lengthen and thicken the lashes which are more effective and far cheaper. The best part of them all is that they are natural, safe, and very easy to do!
One simple treatment is through coating the lashes with petroleum jelly, beginning from the roots down to the tips. Petroleum jelly contains mineral oils which act as a good protectant to avoid the lashes from falling off. Simply dab a small amount on your index finger and carefully apply it on your eyelashes. Make it a routine every night and in a short span of a week or two, you will begin to see incredible results. Petroleum jelly can also replace your daytime mascara, as it will add a more lustrous effect while keeping it well-conditioned.
Another is through the use of castor oil and olive oil. Both can be purchased at a very low price from your nearby grocery or drugstore. Castor oil is a vegetable oil present in shampoos, lip balms, and skin conditioners, while olive oil is famed as a beauty staple used even in the ancient times due to its versatile wonders in conditioning both the skin and hair. You can apply these essential oils either individually or simultaneously, by mixing them in a clean bottle, and gently perform the application from root to tip with a clean mascara wand, cotton buds, or simply your fingers, preferably at night to prevent the possibility of the oils from getting into your eyes. Olive oil serves as a moisturizer and is also an excellent make-up remover, while castor oil is responsible for lengthening. Again, make this a faithful habit (this must be done consecutively), and be patient enough to see how healthier, longer, and thicker your eyelashes are growing each day.
Now don't be surprised with the sweet glances you certainly would be getting in the following weeks, and be careful not to melt everybody with such lovely, mesmerizing eyes!
