It was destiny,
It was fate,
That brought me here,
To this very place,
Among these strangers,
Sifting through these crowds,
Hoping, grasping, wishing,
To figure this whole thing out.
It was destiny,
That kept you with me.
It was fate,
That kept you near.
And in the morning
And in the night,
Yours is the face
I hold most dear.
It was destiny.
