Absolutely and without a doubt. Just turn on your television, to ANY channel. I've gotten so fed up with the garbage on television that I've decided to cancel my cable so my child isn't exposed to what's on there. Society no longer has a conscience. It's no longer worried about what our children see on the little box that used to teach them right from wrong.

When I was a child, television had shows that may have been a bit on the mature side, but it was scheduled for late night viewing. That was acceptable in society because by that time children were in bed. But there were still shows with some real substance that taught family values and how to handle moral issues. Then gradually, the viewing moved closer to prime time. Now, it's out in plain sight at eight o'clock at night. Is it a wonder why our kids are having kids so early? Why they're committing crimes and getting better at it? Why they feel as though they are the ones running the world?

We've gone from a society with morals and values; to a society with corruption, lust and immoral acts as a guideline for surviving. What kind of future leaders are we raising? Because I have to tell you, I don't want to be a part of that society. I want my children to be able to live a wholesome life and enjoy everything that God has provided for them.

Each day we move further and further away from where this country began. From believing in God, and honoring our mother and father, to removing prayer from school. What are we teaching our children when we do this? What type of a world do our children have to look forward to?

Our society is slowly, but surely, closing itself off from one another. Soon there won't be any interaction with real meaning behind it. Just a world of immoral people, looking out for themselves and trying to get over on someone else. The movies that we see on television about our future probably aren't that far off from the truth.

How do you want to see yourself in twenty or thirty years? Do you want the life that you had as a child? Or do you want to live in fear and locked in your own homes because of how our society has raised our children and the morals they hold true.
