Although every new anniversary of a marriage is wonderful, the first wedding anniversary is extra special, and the celebration surrounding it should reflect this. This milestone should be welcomed in with warm feelings of love, relaxation, and romance. Whether you decide to go with a traditional style of celebration, or decide to add in a new twist to your first anniversary tribute, your first anniversary will always be remembered as a special one.

There are so many wonderful romantic ways to celebrate a first wedding anniversary. You can decide to go with the standard evening out for a fine dining experience, complete with candlelight, and wine. If your anniversary falls within the summertime months you can have a romantic picnic at a favorite outdoor area, local park, or even at the spot where you first met.

You can recreate your first date. This is a beautiful way to celebrate an anniversary, it not only brings back all those amazing feelings that you felt for each other then, but it also reminds you of all the many reasons why you continue to be in love today.

You could have a pajama day. Prepare ahead of time to spend your entire anniversary day just relaxing. Book the day off work. If you have a friend, relative or co-worker with a sense of humor, hire them as a butler or maid, to serve you breakfast in bed. They should be decked out in fine black attire, tuxedo or tails, to add a touch of class to the whole affair. Provide them with a key to your house, set a time when they are to arrive, and prepare to dine in bed about one hour after they arrive in your home. They will cook the meal, serve it to you on trays, do the dishes, and then the maid or butler will quietly exit the house. You can order in meals for the rest of the day, and decide whether you choose to get out of bed, or just spend the rest of your day there. Just stay in your pajamas, and in the house, for your special day.

A date at home could be orchestrated in much the same way. Your maid or butler would arrive in the afternoon to prepare, and serve, the evening meal. The maid or butler would once again be dressed to the nines in a classy black outfit. You and your spouse would also be required to dress in your best for this date night. The table would be set with your finest dishes, candlelight and wine. The butler or maid would then cook and serve your meal. After doing the dishes the hired help would quietly leave the house so your evening can be shared between just the two of you. Keep
