Thought the flavor was sweet and airy
He devoured it whole and thought no one would know

The sight was surprising and eerie
A bright yellow plume created the wound
And now he isn't so cheery

You've excavated my essence
You've dug into my being

Caped and veiled;
Dare one ask
Who wears this mask?
Wreathed in smiles;
Dare one look

There's a Mystery
There's a mystery...about me
That I am not willing to tell
Others see what they want to see
But there's more
Behind the news...
Money and power will always dictate
what "truths" we, the people, are fed
and to further their cause
