How does a person get rid of past baggage

How does a person get rid of past baggage? We all carry some kind of baggage inside. This baggage is responsible for people feeling low, angry and depressed. Past baggage is responsible for nervous break-downs, and also many illnesses. People who do nothing to let go of past baggage face a bleak future indeed. Many people hold on to past baggage and do not address the problem at large.

It is not easy to get rid of past baggage. It takes time to heal an internal injury, but some people never really heal, and let go, they just keep everything inside, and do not face the problems. Past baggage can also damage present and future relationships , and also damages trust.

Getting rid of past baggage take time, and the affected person needs to learn to let go. Letting go helps that person come to terms with grief, and responsibility. Letting go demands lots of forgiveness, and patience. This of course is easier said than done, but time is a great healer. There person with a lot of past baggage needs to be true to him/herself, and time does heal. This person will need to know that the hardest truth is sometimes better than an easier lie. Life presents with a lot of ups and downs, but eventually everything will settle down.

Past baggage can also be gotten rid of by forming self help groups, and encouraging people to talk about their problems. Self help groups help many people overcome with grief, and worry. These groups help people to reconnect with their soul, and also feel better about themselves. Many people with past baggage just need to like themselves again, and this helps them do that. Past baggage can also be removed by letting people know that everyone goes through difficult times, and also that different people react to situations differently. People need to have a lot of patience when it comes to getting rid of past baggage. This baggage will never go away on its own, but each passing day the burden will become lighter and lighter. Past baggage is never really an issue with certain people but many people feel that they are carrying more than they can chew.

Past baggage is not something that is just going to go away. as I have said past baggage takes time to heal, and the soul takes a long time to heal. The pain and suffering experienced by the person is great. Past baggage has also led many to commit suicide, and do things that were beyond them. It has made society become negative . Past baggage can be slowly removed by a person giving him/herself up to some sort of spirituality. With spirituality comes great knowledge of the self.
