Making Your World A Better Place By Simply Being in it - Because you were MADE TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
Everyone wants to feel like their actions in life have made a difference in this world. The problem is, most of us simply don't know where to begin making a difference in our world. It doesn't help that our society has become so fast paced that even if we knew where to begin, we wouldn't have the time. Between the kid's soccer practice, church, spending time with your spouse, parent-teacher conference, and working over-time, there's not much time to be Mother Teresa. With high gas prices, a declining real-estate market, and talk of a recession, who can afford to help support causes like cancer research? Some of you may have a lot of money, and you will use a lot of ideas out of this section. Some of us, have more money than we realize. It's important to look at our budget to see where we can sacrifice a frivolous expense in exchange for making a difference in someone's life. For those of us who genuinely have no frivolous expenses, there are a few ways that you can take a small amount of change, to make a BIG change in another's life. In this section, we are going to look at ways that we can contribute to further Christ's Kingdom through the financial blessings that God has given us.
Tithing
First and foremost, if you want to make a difference in the world, you HAVE to tithe! God commands us to give Him our first fruits (Proverbs 3:9). Therefore, the very first "bill"
