One summer evening we were walking in the town centre and I saw the poster of Julie and Julia. I saw that Maryl Streep is staring the film so I wanted to watch it. I read several reviews on it but not seen until last week.
Julie and Julia is a drama comedy written and directed by Nora Ephron. I decided that I won't watch another film where the director and the screenplay writer is the same person but I couldn't resist to Meryl Streep. She is such a brilliant actress and I really like her films, so I walked in the trap again.

The life of Julia Child and Julie Powell are presented in parallel. Julia Child is a housewife, her husband works in the French Embassy in Paris. They don't have any children and they were in their 40s when they are presented. Julie is almost 30 and works for the public, she picks up phones and deals with several problems a day. By the end of the day she gets really tired and she can always be cheered up by cooking something delicious for her husband and their friends.
Julie and her husband live in a small flat over a pizzeria and she really hates living there. Her husband realises that only cooking makes her really calm and happy. He suggests she writes a blog about her cooking experience. Julie's favourite cooking book is Mastering the Art of French Cooking by Julia Child. She starts blogging the day her husband suggested it.
