A Magic Health Tip - Eat breakfast like a King, Lunch like a Commoner and Dinner like a Poor Man.
Eat mostly vegetables, not too much food. After spending years in the food industry and understanding the techniques of how food companies operate, I've come to a few conclusions. Simplicity and common sense can help anyone who is looking for an answer to an otherwise difficult question:
What should I eat?
We must examine the progression from food as a part of our culture and life to food as science.
Health is wealth. But, wealth does not always translate into health. A healthy person is more resistant to illnesses and diseases.
We understand that a healthy diet can help us to keep our medical costs down, but how to cope and justify the additional expenses we incur for procuring healthy food?
Your brain plays tricks on you. The plate deceives. It decides that you are full, based on your normal eating habits and how the food looks on the plate. You can fool your brain into thinking that you've eaten more by making the food on the plate appear bigger.
Make your food look bigger by using small plates, spreading the food around and using vegetables to fill in any spaces. You will eat less and not even know it.
Anyway, you can take these steps to maintain your purchases within your budget by bringing down the cost and remain healthy.
A guide to Healthy Eating within the budget .
1. Try to shop locally, in Farmer's Market:
Find a farmer's market near you and become a regular. The farmer's market or your local produce outlet can be a great source for healthy bargains. For the best deals, shop often and look for reduced produce or end-of-the-day specials. Almost everything sold there is fresh and local. The temptations of the supermarket aren't there and the food is more nutritious because it is freshly picked.
2. Try to grow your own food
The best way is to slash your diet prices even further by growing your own healthy eats. Venture with a plot in your backyard or a tiny garden on your patio and enjoy homegrown fruits and vegetables all season long. Try with a few fresh herbs and grow in small pots by the window.
3. Try to get weekly reduced produce
It's true that fruits and vegetables are good for all of us, but the prices of fresh produce can make a hole in our pocket. To stretch the shopping dollars, look for a reduced rack at the grocery outlet or shopping mall. Plan your weekly shop. You can often pick up super ripe produce for a fraction of the regular price.
