The Christmas season is a merry and enchanting time. Calling you to decorate every inch of your home. The bathroom is a room that can be decorated for Christmas as easily as any room in your home. A little festive decor can go a long way in this small space. Keep it simple but let your love for the season be as bright and cheery as the rest of the rooms in your home.
Decorative boxes painted or wrapped up like presents can be added any where in a bathroom. To the back of the toilet stacked on top of each other. Or stacked up in an unused corner. Tiny boxes, large boxes or a conglomeration of all types of boxes can be used to add a little touch of Christmas to the bathroom.
Small table top trees can be planted and appreciated through out a bathroom. These little trees add a whimsical touch of festive cheer to any room. These tiny trees can really add a Christmas punch to the bathroom. Set atop stools, in corners or on each side of the bathtub. Any space can be used to cleverly grow a tiny tree forest.
Candles and air fresheners instantly brighten up a room with a fresh scent of Christmas. Particularly favored in bathrooms, these fresh scents of the season will add a refreshing Christmas flavor through out the bathroom. Cinnamon, fresh apple pie, pine, cranberry, sugar cookies and a host of others can grace a bathroom with the merriment of the holiday season.
Tiny Santa's, antique Santa's, vintage Santa's and even tree toppers can be placed around the bathroom. Santa is the enchantment of Christmas so why not display him proudly through out the house, even the bathroom.
Along with the many assortments that are Christmas. Why not add a few of the staples. Mistletoe, snowmen, garland and wreaths. These items are not delectating to one place during the season, they can bring happiness and enjoyment any where in the home. Hang a wreath of Christmas balls and gingham ribbon on the bathroom door. Snowmen can grace shower curtains, window treatments and even hand towels. Garland can be draped over mirrors or hung around doors.
Stockings are the notorious embellishments of the fireplace. But why not give them a new home in the bathroom. A few extra stockings hung in the bathroom can house simple items that you might need a little extra of this season. Such as tiny hand soaps, rolled up washcloths, small shampoo bottles for your guests along with other necessary toiletries. Stockings can even be a home for potpourri, to add an extra seasonal scent.
Cinnamon sticks are quaint items that exude the season. The fragrant sticks placed in bowls, tied together with ribbons or loosely grouped add a small seasonal punch. Tie cinnamon sticks to garland or a wreath to compliment an already seasonal decoration.
Use this season to decorate the many corners of your home. A fine theme to enrich any room of your home giving the holiday spirit to all whom enter.
