Wondering what to do next in life can be hard, confusing and sometimes painful. The decisions we make now will affect every aspect of our lives down the road. I don't think we realize it to we get older and look back on how our past has influenced our future. The choices we make can bring us so much joy or can send us spiraling down a dark and lonely path.
Let's look at the small decisions. We wake up one morning and notice that we are putting on a few extra pounds. So we think to ourselves , maybe I should go on a diet , or maybe I should join a fitness club. We think about it all day and we decide fitness club would be the way to go. Now, we get a membership and start going regularly. After a couple of weeks, you notice a strikingly handsome man is constantly looking at you.
The next few days you pay more attention to him and after a while you both start making small talk. Well, this leads to a date and then if everything is going good it eventually turns into a romance . Now the small decision to join a club instead of just going on a diet has affected not only your weight , but has lead you down a completely different path in life.
Is this fate or is it chance? We can chalk it up to chance , but what made you pick the club over the diet? Was it a need to be around people or was it just because you didn't want the worry of having to count calories as much? You may never really know.
Fate can be a tricky subject to talk about. We never could've guessed that we would've met the love of our lives at a gym. Everyday decisions are what make up our lives. Make the wrong chose and you run the risk of missing that special someone , but if you believe in fate , no matter what decision you make you will meet him/her. That is the difference between the two.
If you leave your life up to fate you can never make any chose that would've affected the outcome. Leave it up to chance and every day will be spent trying to make the right move. Who can take that the pressure of either? We can say it's chance, but I believe it's a CHOICE!
