Veteran's
Veteran's day comes and goes
but veterans are people that keep us from our foes
Veterans are those who stood up for what we believe
so we at home would have freedom indeed
Veterans will always be veterans from the moment they are sworn in
and always be veterans until the day that their life will end
But even though a veterans life must come to an end
they will still be called veterans but also called friend

He sits alone on sunlit porch
Because he walks no more
With wrinkled face and twisted joints
His body tired and
