Christmas is just around the corner, and one of the most unique ways to transform your home, is to decorate your bathroom. You may not realize it, but your bathroom is probably the most frequented area of your home. By thinking outside of the box and allowing color to flow freely; your bathroom can be the most festive room, in your home, during the Christmas season. The spirit of Christmas does not need to stop in our living rooms, as it can continue right on into your bathroom.

A great way to add color is to invest in a Christmas themed set of towels. From October on, the stores begin to stock awesome colors, patterns, and prints on towels, which are perfect for bathrooms. Reds, greens, with a little white, can really give your bathroom a stunning appearance. Many times you will find hand towels with silver or gold highlights, which are perfect for the Christmas season. A simple, but colorful update will entice anyone. Many times coordinating rugs can be found to complete your Christmas themed bathroom.

Soap dishes, toothbrush holders, cups, and tissue boxes with a Santa theme are another great option. Christmas would not be the same without Santa tossed into the picture, would it? Many soap companies also offer Christmas colored soaps which feature Christmas shapes. A soap dish sporting a red Santa would be a great way to remind bathroom visitor's to wash their hands. Make sure you have a red or green liquid soap container nearby, as most people won't want to actually use the Santa soap. If the Santa theme is not a good fit for you and your family, an angel theme would provide a great alternative. Christmas is a season with many themes. Do not be afraid to experiment with something a little different from your usual decorating style.

A real unique way to spiff up your bathroom for the holidays is to pipe Christmas music into your bathroom. With a little creativity, your bathroom could offer the sounds of Christmas, unlike any other room in your home. With Christmas knocking on our door, now is the perfect time to get your creative juices flowing. Maybe a red or green toothbrush to toss into that Santa toothbrush holder, will dazzle your family, as well as your houseguests. Getting into the Christmas spirit should be fun and something that you look forward to. What better way to decorate, then to bring the Christmas festivities into your bathroom
