How to cope with your child going to preschool for the first time

The best way for you and your child to cope with the start his or her academic life is first and foremost to allow tyour child to tour with you to check the place out. Let's his or her action and reactions have your attention if not verbally keep sharp mental note for you to pull from when making the best decision possible. Choosing the place that has chemistry with your child is every parents dream. So many great programs are out there and readily available to parents today versus the very limited resources even our parents had to work let alone the utter lack of preparation our grandparents were offered for their children. Mothers in the workplace are very torn between being completely attainable for their children all while showing stern loyalty and dedication to their job. But this being said I am here to encourage the parents to make an ethical game plan with our supervisors for the upcoming transition. Letting your boss know that you need to be on high alert the first full week your child is his or her brand new setting. Pop in and visit a few times and go through the motions of observing his behavior when you have to leave. However, if your morning departure was painted with drama you may want to hold off on the visits until that transitions rights itself. I have worked in child care a little while and I have been witness the duration a day viewed through the eyes of a child who did not want to be there. In the vastest amount of the times the child will be wonderfully diverted to something that calls for his or her attention. Other children do not accept the new situation at all the teachers will need to make the call to the parent requesting that they come and pick up their child. The parents that have these hurdles at most times appear to be numb from the shoulders up. They just don't know how to help their child make that very important transition.. Teachers are a great resource for these families to rely. Listen to their observations of your child and be receptive the advise they feel important enough to share with to better help your child.

The workplace is such a competitive place to be. The world is merely run the existence of the workplace making it a logical burden to employers who have staff that is always out of work due to child related situations. It is a very clear rip down the line of a mother in the workplace versus a mother that has the will and the resources to stay at home. Getting your child ready for a brand new environment is job
