Poetry: Home

by Charles Ray

Created on: November 16, 2009

Do a crime or commit a sin

At home they have to take you in.

Saint with feet of clay, or just plain Joe

This is the place where you can go

To be loved and welcome

Though you seldom

Think of it because

It has always been there.

Home is where the heart is.

Where people are warm and true.
