One Day
What could change they way we are
What could change the way we will be
Two shallow spirits searching for meaning
Pushing aimlessly through all of the nothing
Chance encounters surge mesmeric force
Chance becomes habitual with little recourse
Grief stricken moments at last embrace
Never knowing the complete finality
Should I miss you or hate you
Should I thank you or damn you
Motivation lies within sentiments of pain
Disguised in those words I breathe once more
Awaiting the time when I will need you again
Bathe me in your stark reality
I shall return the favor one day
