TO FEEL
To feel
or not to feel
that is the penultimate decision
if not the ultimate conclusion
the mind must analyze forensically
in this unmitigated meandering of our bodies
like a tarantula in its readiness for a kill
bone in
or bone out
flesh innocent in its fulfillment
in the color of our skin
gyrating in the warmth
of our time capsule
waiting for an answer
to feel
or not
to feel
the innocence of dying.
