Poetry: Lies

by Luisa

Created on: February 15, 2007   Last Updated: May 14, 2007

Twisted Vertical-

Holding on for so long

Waiting for the spill

Fantasized in bundled sticks

Tumbling down our hill

Picked back up and realigned

No room for mistakes

Apologies are left behind

Forgotten instantaneously

The lies spewing from the mouths

Of the innocent abused

Shroud the power of healing

Reverting to the past

Fighting off so desperately

Screaming for the chance

Release control, let it go

The ultimate influence

Grasping for what's real

Left with what's contrived

Walk again

Get back up

Don't let it take over

You can win

Win whatever

Does really even matter

Win

You can win

Persevere

Rings like suffering

Reality, truth

It's all opinion

In wonderland, live with me
